David Wuthier's work experience includes roles at various companies and institutions. David is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Phase One since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Engineer at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from June 2020 to July 2021, where they focused on designing and implementing drones for contact inspection and teaching drone control and trajectory planning. From April 2017 to April 2020, they served as a Ph.D. Fellow at Aalborg Universitet, specializing in the development of programming methods for collaborative robots. David also worked as a Research Engineer at Luleå University of Technology from May 2016 to December 2016. In addition, they have held various roles including Civil Service at the Laboratory of Neural Microcircuitry (LNMC-EPFL) in 2015, R&D Software Engineer at senseFly from February 2015 to July 2015, and Coach for Apprentices at AppApp from October 2012 to May 2015. David has also completed research internships and teaching assistant positions at the Laboratory of Intelligent System (LIS-EPFL) and EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) respectively. Additionally, they undertook a semester project and a pre-study internship at Matisa SA, where they contributed to track renewal train improvement and specification determination.

David Wuthier's education history begins in 2006 when they attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and obtained a Maturité Gymnasiale degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics in 2009. David then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at EPFL from 2010 to 2013. After completing their Bachelor's degree, they went on to obtain a Master's degree in Robotics from EPFL between 2013 and 2016. During their Master's program, they were also a visiting student researcher at the Control Engineering Group at Luleå University of Technology in 2015 and 2016, where they worked on their EPFL Master Thesis.
