Michael Whiddon is an Associate at Pharos Capital Group. Mr. Whiddon is responsible for evaluating and executing investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and working with management teams to implement operational and growth strategies. Mr. Whiddon currently works with the firm's investments in Back Yard Burgers, EBS, Sona Dermatology and MedSpa, and Verdi Oncology.

Prior to joining the firm in 2019, he was an Investment Banking Senior Analyst in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Group at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. Investment Bank in Chicago. While at Brown Gibbons Lang, Mr. Whiddon worked on both sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions across the healthcare sector including physician practices, surgical hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare services. Mr. Whiddon graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in History and received his MBA from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Whiddon is based out of the firm’s Dallas office.
