Jeff Boutelle is the current CEO at Pharmavite. Prior to this, they served as the President and CEO at Beech-Nut Nutrition Company from May 2012 to April 2017. Jeff was responsible for leading the turnaround of Beech-Nut, a baby food company with 300 employees and $160 million in revenue. During their tenure, they stabilized the business, improved gross margin, launched category-transforming innovation, grew market share, and built strong employee morale behind a purpose-driven culture. In 2014, they launched the transformative “just Naturals” product line—real whole fruits and vegetables minimally processed in a patented new jar with new branding. In 2016-17, they expanded Beech-Nut’s “real food for babies” platform across the entire baby food category.
Before joining Beech-Nut, Jeff Boutelle served as Division Vice President for Europe, Middle East & Africa at Abbott Nutrition from February 2007 to June 2012. In this role, they were responsible for leading the division’s sales, marketing, and operations teams. Prior to Abbott Nutrition, they served as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications at University Hospitals of Cleveland from April 2005 to February 2007. In this role, they oversaw the hospital system’s marketing and communications functions.
Jeff Boutelle began their career as a Marketing Principal at Henry Rak Consulting Partners from January 2004 to December 2005. In this role, they advised clients on marketing strategy and execution. Jeff has also held various other marketing roles at companies such as PNC Bank and General Motors.
Jeff Boutelle has an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
