Asimina Glynou is an experienced professional in the field of biomedical engineering with a strong focus on drug device development and project management. Currently serving as the Drug Devices Development Lead at Pharmathen since September 2022, Glynou previously worked as a Senior R&D Project Manager at Elpen Pharmaceutical Co. Inc., where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with EU MDR requirements for drug-device combination products. Prior roles include positions at Micrel Medical Devices and Medtronic, where Glynou managed R&D projects, led multidisciplinary teams, and executed product testing and design activities per ISO standards. Glynou holds a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
