Rudi Martens, PhD, is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and quality consulting fields, currently serving as the Head of GMP & Quality Consulting at PHARMAPLAN (TTP Group) since 2017. Martens' extensive background includes leadership roles at Aeterna Zentaris GmbH, where responsibilities spanned from Head of Pharmaceutical Operations to Head of Quality Assurance from June 2001 to January 2016. Additionally, Martens briefly held the position of Head of Quality at NextPharma in 2016 and worked as a Product Responsible Scientist at Aventis CropScience from October 1996 to May 2001. Early career experience includes an internship at Cyanamid Forschung GmbH focused on developing analytical methods for plant protection products. Martens earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Münster from 1987 to 1995.
