Joshua Alfaro has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1996 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Technical Assistant I at Washington State University. In 1998, they took on the role of Biological Science Technician and Chemist at the United States Department of Agriculture. In 2001, they returned to Washington State University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant. In 2009, they became a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. In 2012, they took on the role of Research Scientist at Ezose Sciences. Finally, in 2014, they began their longest tenure at PharmaIN, Corp., where they served as Director of CMC and QA, Principal Scientist/Analytical and Process Chemistry Manager, Senior Scientist, and Scientist/Chemist.
Joshua Alfaro completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from Washington State University between 2001 and 2007. Joshua also earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the same university between 1992 and 1997.
