Fasli Jalal currently serves as an Independent Commissioner at PT Phapros Tbk since April 2014 and is a Professor in Early Childhood Education Programs at the State University of Jakarta since January 2011. With extensive experience in the education sector, Fasli Jalal held various significant roles, including Vice Minister of National Education and Director General positions within the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia from 2001 to 2011. Additionally, Fasli Jalal served as Chief of the National Population and Family Planning Board from June 2013 to January 2015, overseeing the national family planning program. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Public Health from Cornell University and an MD in Medicine from Universitas Andalas, where Fasli Jalal was also a Professor of Nutrition Science until 2015.
