Alec Hardy is an experienced engineer specializing in robotics and automation with a focus on hardware integration and custom solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. Currently serving as a Hardware Integration R&D Engineer at Phantom Auto since September 2023, Alec also operates Hardy Automation, a sole proprietorship aimed at inspiring future engineers through robotics and automation. Previous positions include Senior Robotics Engineer at Prime Robotics and various roles at Keysight Technologies, where responsibilities ranged from developing automation systems to software solutions for semiconductor environment monitoring. Alec's early career involved internships and field service engineering, providing hands-on experience in programming and maintaining automation machinery. Alec holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science, all from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
