James Noonan is an experienced professional in stakeholder engagement and advocacy, currently serving as Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since May 2018. Previously, James held positions such as Principal of Political Engagement and Principal of Advocacy Communications within the same company. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Communications Director for the California Professional Firefighters from August 2014 to May 2018 and Media Relations Manager at the California Medical Association from November 2011 to August 2014. James began a career in journalism as a Reporter for Lee Enterprises and News Media Corporation. James earned a B.A. in English from the University of California, Davis.
