Salvatore Rizzo currently serves as Associate Director of External Suppliers Quality Operations for Oncology and Rare Disease at Pfizer, leading the legacy Seagen External Quality team following the company's acquisition in December 2023. Prior to this role, Salvatore held the position of Associate Director of External Quality for Europe and APAC at Seagen, where responsibilities included managing external manufacturing operations and ensuring quality oversight for clinical and commercial drugs. Salvatore's extensive experience includes senior roles at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Roche, Johnson & Johnson, GSK, and Chiesi Group, focusing on quality assurance, process validation, technology transfer, and continuous improvement within the pharmaceutical industry. Salvatore holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Pharmacy and multiple Lean Six Sigma certifications.
