Jose Ma. Alvir has extensive experience in public health and statistics, currently serving as Senior Director at Pfizer since August 2004. Prior roles include membership in the Medicare Evidence Development and Coverage Advisory Committee from 2007 to 2009 and Athletics Chairman on the Board of Governors at Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club from 1998 to 2006. Additional experience encompasses positions as Director at NYU (2001-2004), Senior Statistician at Hillside Hospital (1985-2001), and Deputy Project Director at the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene (1982-1985). Jose Ma. Alvir is an alumnus of Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where a DrPH degree was earned (1980-1985), and also attended the University of the Philippines (1970-1974) and San Beda College (1966-1969) for earlier education.
