Daniel Frese has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2009. In 2009, they co-founded and was Vice President of TU Investment Club e.V. and in 2010 they were an Innovation Management Intern at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. In 2012, they co-founded and was Managing Director of Dreamlabs GmbH, the company behind apartment sharing marketplace www.dreamflat.com. In 2015, they co-founded both Pexels - best free stock photos and Berlin Startup Offices. In 2016, they co-founded Lensdrop, the Netflix/Spotify for stock photos. Pexels and Lensdrop were both acquired by Canva in 2018.

Daniel Frese attended the Technical University of Munich from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a degree in Technology and Management in 2011.
