April Young is a Senior Officer in Planning and Strategy at The Pew Charitable Trusts, bringing with their twenty years of experience in designing and evaluating health promotion programs. With a PhD in Anthropology from Harvard University and a BA in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University, April has a strong background in researching social determinants of health and developing communications for various audiences. April's expertise lies in negotiating and troubleshooting complex projects, as well as achieving consensus in challenging contexts. Prior to their current role, April served as a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton for four years.
