Kristina Calicchio is an experienced veterinary professional currently serving as Medical Director at PetWellClinic since April 2021. Kristina has held the position of ER Veterinarian at Advanced Veterinary Care Center and BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital since April 2018 and December 2013, respectively, with the latter institution previously known as Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists. Prior experience includes ER Veterinarian roles at SOUTHEAST VETERINARY REFERRAL CENTER LLC and another tenure at BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital from 2003 to 2010, along with surgical residency and rotating internship at the same facility. Kristina earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
