Tom Morahan has extensive experience in geophysics, currently serving as a Geophysicist at Petrotechnical Resources of Alaska since September 2007. In this role, Tom specializes in exploration and development mapping utilizing 2D and 3D seismic data across regions such as Cook Inlet, Northern Alaska, and the Nenana Basin, contributing to projects for notable companies including Chevron and ConocoPhillips. Prior to this, Tom held the position of Principal Geophysicist at ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc. from November 2002 to August 2007, focusing on exploration mapping and prospect identification within Northern Alaska's onshore and offshore areas. Tom's career at ConocoPhillips spanned over three decades, where responsibilities included seismic interpretation and mapping, seismic stratigraphy, and data processing across various global basins. Educationally, Tom earned a Master of Science degree in Geology from Texas Tech University between 1964 and 1976.
