Lawton Johnson is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in loan originations and underwriting. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Originations at Petros PACE Finance since September 2020, Lawton previously held the position of Assistant Vice President/Portfolio Manager at SouthStar Bank, S.S.B. for four years, where responsibilities included underwriting mortgage and commercial loans, preparing Loan Approval Memoranda, and managing loan portfolios. Lawton also served as a Loan Production Partner, facilitating loan operations and maintaining client relationships. Earlier experience includes working as a Teller at Vista Bank and completing a summer internship focused on financial statement analysis and loan documentation. Lawton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business.
