Cobick Scott currently serves as a Production Lead at PetroChina Canada since August 2020, transitioning into this role at the Ft. MacKay facility. Previously, Cobick held positions as a Shift Engineer at Cona Resources Ltd. following its acquisition of Pengrowth Energy Corporation and at Pengrowth itself from May 2014 to April 2020, where significant contributions included commissioning the Lindbergh commercial plant. Earlier career experiences include firefighting and emergency response with the Town of Peace River, operating as an Operating Technician at Daishowa-Marubeni International Ltd., and working as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Larsen Excavating. Cobick holds extensive certifications in firefighting and emergency medical response, alongside a technical education from NAIT.
