Adam Deutmeyer's work experience includes serving as the Director of IT at Peterson Contractors Inc. since January 2022, where they manage the IT/Programming team and projects to improve company efficiency. Adam also maintains network and phone stability and develops software for easier information finding and sharing. Prior to that, from May 2015 to January 2022, they worked as an IT Manager/Specialist at the same company, where they performed similar roles. Before joining Peterson Contractors Inc., Adam worked at IBM as the Mobility & Workplace Platform Management from June 2014 to March 2015, where they developed and implemented Internet and Intranet applications. Adam also served as a TADDM Administrator from March 2013 to June 2014 at IBM, troubleshooting processing problems and ensuring network and data integrity. Adam's earliest work experience was as a Programming Intern at Dubuque Data Services from January 2012 to March 2013, where they designed a company catalog and wrote scripts to support existing software.

Adam Deutmeyer earned their Associate of Arts degree in Computer Science from Northeast Iowa Community College. Adam completed this program in 2018.
