Jake Valentine, PhD, currently serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and a Senior Project Officer at Safer Care Victoria. With a strong background in clinical epidemiology and infectious disease surveillance, Jake obtained a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Melbourne and holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours from Monash University. Previous roles include Research Affiliate at the Victorian Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service and Ph.D. Candidate at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Jake's early academic experiences include positions as an Honours Student at Alfred Health and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Lyras and Jans Laboratories at Monash University. Jake's educational journey began at Mossgiel Park Primary School and included secondary education at Berwick Secondary College and a brief period studying at Alexander von Humboldt Gymnasium in Germany.
