Shilpi Aashariya Das is an experienced professional currently serving as an Emergency Response Assistant at PETA since August 2022, where responsibilities include coordinating emergency rescue cases and addressing animal cruelty issues. In addition, Shilpi works as a Community Outreach Coordinator for the Animal Welfare Division at Anaajoree Trust since January 2022. Shilpi's earlier experience includes a research internship at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) as part of the Pradhan Mantri Ishan Vikas Programme, and a project internship at Numaligarh Refinery Limited focused on pump systems. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Meghalaya and further studies at The University of Edinburgh. Shilpi has also served as a campus ambassador for various institutions, demonstrating strong outreach and communication skills.
