Elizabeth Fagan is a physician, academic hepatologist and biotechnology executive. She received her undergraduate and post-graduate medical training in adult and paediatric hepatology/gastroenterology at King’s and Hammersmith Hospital (RPMS) in London, UK. In Chicago, USA she is a Professor (now adjunct) of Internal Medicine and Paediatrics at Rush Presbyterian, St. Luke’s Medical Center, specializing in critical care liver disease and transplantation.
Elizabeth also has extensive experience in biotechnology drug development having worked full-time for several small-to-medium-sized biotechnology companies in Texas, California and Australia. She has been involved directly with all phases of clinical drug development and medical affairs including successfully filing for approval in the US, UK and Canada. Elizabeth has published over 100 scientific papers and 30 book chapters on liver disease and a book on viral hepatitis.
