Alex Hurlow has three years of work experience. In 2021, they began working at Perrett Laver as an Associate Consultant and then moved into a Senior Research Associate role. In 2020, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Swansea University. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Manchester.

Alex Hurlow attended The University of Manchester from 2012 to 2020, completing a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2015, a Master of Arts in Medieval and Early Modern Studies in 2016, and a Doctor of Philosophy in History in 2020.
