Joey Whitmore is a Technical Consultant at PerfectServe since April 2023, with previous experience as a Software Engineer at Samsung SARC | ACL from January 2020 to March 2023, where focus was on the development and support of OpenCL Driver for mobile GPUs. Prior to that, Joey held the position of GPU Software Engineering Intern at Samsung SARC | ACL in the summer of 2019, implementing tests for convolutional neural network operations on GPU and CPU. Joey's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Minor in Business from Texas A&M University, where involvement as a Deep Learning Researcher occurred in 2018. Early work experience includes roles at Life Time Inc. and Firehouse Subs, as well as referee duties with the U.S. Soccer Federation. Education was completed at Lovejoy High School in 2015.
