David Latil is a Principal Software Engineer at Peraton since November 2023, focusing on building a large microservice-based mission planning software for the DoD using Java and ReactJS deployed with Kubernetes. Previously, David served as a Software Engineering Manager at COFENSE from May 2017 to July 2023, where responsibilities included hands-on coding and operations of a SaaS offering composed of Java SpringBoot microservices on AWS, as well as developing core services for email phishing report management. David's earlier roles included Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at COFENSE and CA Technologies, where contributions involved building microservice platforms and dynamic web applications. David's career began as a Staff Software Developer at QinetiQ US, with foundational experience at the University of Southern Mississippi on a public safety JavaEE suite and significant enterprise Java project work at Geocent. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Southern Mississippi.
