Antony Barton has work experience in both industry and academia. Antony began their career in 2013 as a Research Associate at The University of Manchester, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they also took on the role of Experimental Officer from 2017 to 2023. In 2023, Antony joined Peratech Holdco Limited as a Senior Electronic Engineer.

Antony Barton pursued their education with a strong focus on electrical and electronic engineering. Antony first attended The University of Manchester from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Systems Engineering, specifically a Master of Engineering (MEng). Antony continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from 2009 to 2013, further expanding their expertise in the field.
