Randal Burks is currently serving as the SGA Secretary of Technology Services at Spelman College since August 2020, where effective communication between Spelman Technology Services and the student body is emphasized. Randal has prior experience as a student researcher, collaborating with Dr. Maira Goytia on significant research in the biology department, and held various leadership roles in student organizations, including Vice President of the Junior Class Council and Social Media Marketing Manager for both the Health Careers Club and Sophomore Class Council. Randal has also gained valuable experience as an Ecommerce Marketing Intern at PepsiCo and a member of Black Product Managers Network, while previously serving as President of the Black Venture Capital Consortium where oversight of student cohorts was a key responsibility. Additional experiences include roles at Sphear, Google, STAG Software, Braven, and Reign International Inc., showcasing a diverse skill set in product management, marketing, and research. Randal is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Spelman College, expected to graduate in 2024.
