Sara Young Jackson is a seasoned leader in higher education, currently serving as Chancellor and Senior Vice Chancellor at Pepperdine University since March 2004, focusing on major gift fundraising and managing the Seaver College parents program. With a strong background at Pepperdine from 1996 to 2004 as Executive Director of the Center for the Family, responsibilities included advisory board development, fundraising, program planning, marketing, and instructing marriage and parenting seminars. Additionally, from 1988 to 1991, Jackson was the Founding Director of the Volunteer Center, where research led to the establishment of campus-wide volunteer programs. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Theology with a focus on marriage and family therapy from Fuller Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Pepperdine University.
