Emily Dawson is an experienced educator with a strong background in special education and STEM education. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Peoria Public Schools since August 2017, Emily has previously held positions as a Junior High Science Teacher and Junior High Special Education Teacher at Riverview Grade School from 2007 to 2015, along with roles at Illini Central Middle School, Pekin Community High School, and ROWVA Junior High School/Oneida Elementary. Emily holds a Master’s degree in Autism and Autism/ABA from Arizona State University, a Master’s degree in STEM Education from Bradley University, and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Northern Illinois University.
