Eric Esser is a seasoned police professional with extensive experience at the Peoria Police Department since June 2008, currently serving as Police Lieutenant in Technical Services, where responsibilities include managing the police fleet and various technical programs. Previously, Eric held roles as Records Administrator and Detective Sergeant, overseeing crucial operations related to records management and juvenile crime investigations, respectively. Eric's career also encompasses positions in patrol, including earlier sergeant roles, and significant training in advanced interrogation techniques. In addition to duties at the Peoria Police Department, Eric provides security as a Police Officer at the Peoria Civic Center since March 2022. Eric holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Bradley University. Prior to law enforcement, Eric gained retail management experience at Best Buy.
