Parastoo Irani, PE, is a skilled structural engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Plan Checker at the City of Redwood City since January 2023, Parastoo has previously held positions as a Project Engineer at both PARADIGM Structural Engineers, Inc. and Thornton Tomasetti from 2020 to early 2023. Parastoo began the engineering career as an Assistant Engineer III at Peoples Associates Structural Engineers and progressed through roles of Assistant Engineer II and Engineer In Training from 2014 to 2020. Parastoo holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Arak University.
