Nicholas W. O. is an experienced Data Privacy Engineer and consultant, currently working with IKEA since February 2022, focusing on security and privacy by design. Nicholas is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and serves as the Founder and Director of evacy.eu, providing data privacy and cybersecurity consultancy services. Previous roles include Data Privacy Specialist at Anglo American, where support was provided for global compliance with data privacy laws, and Data Privacy Associate at Securys Limited, advising various organizations on data protection compliance. Additionally, Nicholas has experience as a Data Protection Consultant & Auditor at Data Protection People Limited and as a Trainer & Content Creator for Certification Courses Ltd, where GDPR awareness training was delivered. Nicholas holds a degree from Liverpool John Moores University.
