India McKinney serves as the Director of Federal Affairs at the Electronic Frontier Foundation since July 2017, drawing on extensive experience in legislative and regulatory affairs. Prior to this role, India worked as an Account Manager at iQ 360, Inc., where communications strategies were developed to enhance client reputations. India spent a decade in the U.S. House of Representatives, holding positions including Legislative Director for Rep. Mark DeSaulnier and Legislative Assistant for Reps. Sam Farr and Brad Sherman, managing policy priorities and legislative projects on crucial issues. Earlier experience includes a corporate role at Southern California Edison, focusing on governmental affairs. India holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Studies from Vanderbilt University.
