David Shideler has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. David started their career in 2001 as a C++ Programmer at Veridian, where they developed graphical applications for Trusted Solaris. David then worked as a Systems Software Developer at Universal Computer Systems, where they developed software in Visual C++/MFC.

In 2005, David joined Harcourt Assessment as an Office Temp for a short period of time before transitioning to ARINC as a C++ Developer / Item Lead. During their time at ARINC, they developed software in Visual C++ / MFC and C++, and was responsible for a high-profile application that served as a gateway between test and training systems.

After ARINC, David joined TASC, Inc. as a Software Engineer and worked as a government contractor for the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). David developed software in C# .NET and C++ .NET, maintained software in Visual C++ / MFC, and collaborated with a team to develop a Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Service.

In 2011, David joined SumTotal Systems as a Software Engineer, where they developed software utilizing Visual C++, JavaScript, C#, and ASP.NET. David worked remotely with teams in the US and India and maintained a highly complex Talent Management web application.

In 2013, David joined Trendy Entertainment LLC as a Senior Web Developer, where they developed software using C# .NET, MVC 5, ASP.NET WebAPI framework, and JavaScript. David also used Amazon Web Services to host multiple web applications.

Lastly, David worked at Greenway Health as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Principal Software Engineer. David led a team of developers, designed and developed features for a user portal, researched product requirements, and developed various background services and APIs.

Throughout their career, David has gained experience in various technologies, such as C#, .NET, MVC, WCF, Visual C++, JavaScript, ASP.NET, and SQL Server, among others. David has also worked in agile environments, utilized version control systems, and provided on-call support for critical issues.

David Shideler attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1996 to 2000. David completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science during this time.
