Yiannis Papargyris (PhD, CEA) is the Language Assessment Development Director at PEOPLECERT Group, a position held since September 2015, where responsibilities include managing the Language Assessment Development Department and the Research and Validation Team. In addition to this role, Yiannis serves as an instructor at New York College, teaching courses in English Language and Literature, English for Academic Purposes, and Cultural Studies. Previous professional experiences include positions as Academic Director at Gnosis Assessment, LNAT & GMAT (Verbal) Instructor at the UKFC Foundation Course of Athens, and Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. Yiannis has pursued extensive education in language testing and assessment, including courses from the Association of Language Testers in Europe and the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors, culminating in a PhD in English from the University of Birmingham.
