Emanuela Mackova serves as a Humanitarian Advisor and Emergency Coordinator at People in Need since July 2012, with experience in emergency response across various regions including the Philippines, Balkans, Eastern Ukraine, Turkey/Syria, and DRC. Previous roles include Emergency Manager at SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL and Emergency Assistant at People in Need, where responsibilities encompassed grants management and support for NGOs responding to refugee crises. Additionally, Emanuela's experience includes child protection management at Burma Issues, a human rights education internship at Amnesty International, and conflict mediation with the Global Conscience Initiative. Emanuela's academic background includes a Master's in Nationalism Studies from Central European University and Master’s degrees in History focusing on Roma policies and workers' health protection.
