Arishma Shrestha is an experienced professional in the fields of gender equality and social inclusion, protection, and mental health. Currently serving as the GEDSI and Protection Lead at People in Need since December 2016, Arishma has held various titles including Protection and GEDSI Mainstreaming Coordinator and Project Manager. In addition, Arishma has been a Psychology Faculty member at Thames International College Kathmandu since November 2019. Prior experience includes roles at IOM - UN Migration, such as Project Assistant for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support. Arishma holds a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Counseling Psychology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from St. Xavier's College.
