Daniel Greenstein is a seasoned higher education leader currently serving as Managing Director at Baker Tilly since November 2024, where the focus is on developing sustainable, affordable, and high-quality postsecondary education solutions for US universities and colleges. Greenstein previously held the positions of Chancellor Emeritus and Chancellor within Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, and acted as Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group from September 2018 to January 2022. At the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from June 2012 to June 2018, Greenstein was instrumental in enhancing postsecondary success, particularly for underserved populations. Earlier roles include Vice Provost at the University of California Office of the President, as well as various leadership positions within academic libraries and digital initiatives. Greenstein's academic background includes a DPhil in Social Studies from the University of Oxford and a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
