Mark Raccagno has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Mark started their career in 2001 as an Elementary School Teacher at Pennbury School District, teaching 4th-grade curriculum and creating a responsive classroom environment. Mark then worked at Bristol Township School District as an Elementary School Teacher, excelling in providing daily instruction and building rapport with parents. Mark also worked as an Instructor in the Kids On Campus Program at Bucks County Community College, where they created a music course for young people that incorporated movement and drumming. Mark later joined Pennsbury School District as an In School Suspension Teacher, working with at-risk students and providing one-on-one tutoring. Mark also served as an Elementary Classroom Teacher, using differentiated instruction and responsive classroom management techniques. Mark continued their career at the Center for Student Learning at Pennsbury, where they created and implemented an In School Suspension program for middle and high school students. Mark also served on a committee to develop intervention strategies for at-risk students. Their most recent role was as the Director of Education and Evening Director at Pennco Tech, where they managed the education department and the evening program. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated a commitment to student success and has been involved in various educational initiatives.
Mark Raccagno obtained their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Temple University, where they attended from 1996 to 1999. Later, in 2008, they obtained a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Instructional Leadership from Neumann University. In addition to their degrees, Mark Raccagno holds various certifications. Mark received a Level II Elementary Education Permanent Certification from Pennsylvania in January 2008, and a Level II Middle School Science certification from Pennsylvania in January 2003.
