Indira Chakravarti

Evaluation Specialist at Penn State University

Indira Chakravarti is an experienced analyst with a focus on monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment at Humane Society International since October 2021. Prior to this role, Indira served as a research assistant for the COVET project at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from November 2016 to May 2021, and also held positions as a research coordinator and research assistant, where responsibilities included grant and IRB management, manuscript preparation, and laboratory management in molecular parasitology. Indira's early experience includes working as a laboratory technician at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Health with a concentration in International Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Goucher College, complemented by an international educational experience in Paris, France.
