Mrs. Benati-Chidsey was elected to the Board in 2014 and was named President in 2022. She serves on the Monroe County Schools Boards Association's Information Exchange Committee and the Board's Policy and Orientation Committees.

Mrs. Benati-Chidsey currently works with a local non-profit and serves as an Adjunct at RIT. She holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree in Business Management. She and her husband, Keith, have three children.
