This is a global role that requires you to collaborate closely with employees, HR, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment across the entire payroll cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Global Payroll Oversight:
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all employees globally, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Manage payroll for multiple jurisdictions including USA, UK, Israel, Australia, Japan, and the DACH region among others.
- System & Process Management:
- Manage global payroll systems and external service partners.
- Work collaboratively on system integrations, particularly with ADP, Workday and other HR/Finance platforms.
- Develop and enforce robust payroll controls, risk management practices, and compliance protocols.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of payroll professionals, fostering a culture of continuous development and excellence.
- Evaluate and optimize processes, implementing automated solutions to scale operations in line with the company’s growth strategy.
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular assessments, and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, collaborating with employees, HR, Finance, and Legal to resolve issues.
- Provide strategic payroll insights and recommendations to senior leadership through detailed reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate payroll financial entries and reconciliations.
- Partner with the equity administration team to manage stock-based compensation processing, including stock option exercises, RSUs and ESPP, to ensure payroll tax compliance
- Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives:
- Lead cross-functional integration projects as the company scales globally.
- Manage special payroll projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Service Excellence:
- Provide exceptional service by promptly addressing employee inquiries and ensuring seamless payroll operations.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining high compliance standards.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of payroll management experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a global or multi-country payroll role.
- Strong background in international payroll processes as well as expertise in US federal, state, and local payroll taxation.
- Proven project management skills with a demonstrated ability to streamline processes and drive scalable improvements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (required), with additional exposure to ADP Celergo and Workday (HRIS) preferred.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected base salary range for this role in the following location is:Â
Raleigh, NC - $134,200 - $166,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
