Maria Bakatselos is an experienced Independent Living Advisor at Penderels Trust since August 2015, focusing on advising individuals about care packages, financial aspects, and the recruitment and management of care staff. Prior to this role, Maria served as the Core Children's Service Manager at Core Assets from 2010 to January 2015, where responsibilities included the operational development and commissioning of services for children and families across the North East, Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire. Experience also includes providing foster care through Newcastle City Council from 1997 to 2012 and supporting children and young people at FCA from 2005 to 2010, showcasing a strong background in child welfare and care management. Maria Bakatselos' educational foundation was established at Gosforth High School from 1989 to 1992.
