Sibonelo Mbanjwa is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Plant Assistant at Pele Green Energy since May 2023, where responsibilities include optimizing power plant operations and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Previously, Sibonelo acted as a Site Manager at EDF Renewables (South Africa) from March 2022 to May 2023, overseeing health, safety, and environmental policies, and managing site operations. Additional experience includes working as a Wind Turbine Technician on special projects at ETA Wind, managing projects and costing at LOLO and Sima Trading, and serving as a Wind Turbine Service Technician at Vestas. Sibonelo began a technical career as an electronic engineering officer with the SA Navy from February 2013 to January 2016. Education includes a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Africa, among other qualifications.
