Tanja Simola is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health and education. Currently serving as Development Manager and Senior Advisor at Pelastakaa Lapset ry - Save the Children Finland since February 2021, Tanja also works as a Therapist at Liiketila KokoNaisuus and as a Researcher at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) since early 2020. Previously, Tanja contributed as an Adult Education Teacher at Hyria Education from 2013 to 2021 and as a Nurse Midwife at Kanta-Hämeen keskussairaala from 2007 to 2021. Tanja holds a Master's degree from the University of Eastern Finland and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Tampere University, with an expected graduation in 2024.
