Ian Torres is a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Pegasystems since April 2022, focusing on leveraging Apache Tomcat for delivering security reports and utilizing Python with boto3 for maintaining AWS cloud security compliance. Prior to this, Torres worked as a Cloud Operations Engineer at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, where skills in Django were applied to develop a data visualization application for AWS infrastructure analysis. With a background as an E/L Software Engineer at John Galt Staffing and a Systems Consultant at MassMutual, Torres has extensive experience in web application development and DevOps practices. Internships at CRA-W DREU at UVA and B-SMART REU at UMass Amherst provided foundational knowledge in IT practices and innovative data analysis methods.
