Kathy Touchstone has a strong background in banking and finance, with a focus on private banking and credit. Kathy began their career at Bank of America in 1997 as a VP, Relationship Manager, where they managed high net worth individuals' relationships with a focus on credit. After completing a two-week training program for experienced hires in credit, they worked at Bank of Texas from 2004 to 2007 as a VP, Private Banking. Kathy then joined PlainsCapital Bank, where they held the same role from 2007 to 2010. In 2010, they moved to Bank of Texas again, this time as an SVP, Credit. Kathy currently works at Pegasus Bank in the role of SVP, Credit, which they have held since 2013.

Kathy Touchstone completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at The University of the South from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Emory University between 1994 and 1996.
