Ian McNeill is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Special Counsel at JERA Nex and as a Consultant at Peerpoint since early 2024. With a long-standing career in the energy sector, Ian has been a Director at Lealt Energy since 2016 and held the role of General Counsel and Project Director at Joule Africa from 2014 to 2016. Earlier positions include Partner at DUNDAS & WILSON LLP and Watson Farley & Williams, as well as European Counsel at Entergy. Ian began the legal career as an Associate at Ashurst and Watson Farley & Williams, alongside serving as Legal Adviser at British Gas plc. Ian holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and postgraduate qualifications in law and finance from the University of Aberdeen.
