Dani Shamir is a seasoned Data Engineer with extensive experience in building robust data solutions across various industries. Currently serving at PEER39 since February 2020, Dani is integral to the R&D analytics engineering team, developing high-volume production data lakes and automated insights using Python and SQL within AWS environments. Prior to this role, Dani worked at Bank Leumi as a Data Engineer, focusing on ETL flows for machine learning modeling in Big Data, and created a Feature Store for data scientists. Dani's career also includes roles as a BI Developer at Harel Insurance & Finance, Senior BI Developer at Telefonica Digital, Project Manager at Comverse Technology, Custom Developer at Top Image Systems, and BI & DWH Developer at Oracle. Dani holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Quality Assurance Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
