Anitra Dancy has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Professional Assessment Scorer at Pearson since April 2015, scoring English and math assessments for grades 3-8. Dancy has been a Middle School Educator for the Jackson-Madison County School System since August 2012 and previously worked as an Online English & Math Tutor with Educate Online from September 2013 to August 2015, providing virtual tutoring for grades 2-9. Earlier roles include Middle School Educator at Haywood County Schools from August 2007 to June 2012 and Elementary Educator at Jackson Madison County School System from August 2003 to July 2006. Dancy holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Education from Freed-Hardeman University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology from The University of Memphis.
