Eleonora Peerani has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Eleonora currently works at Pear Bio as the Director of Diagnostics R&D, where they focus on the development and characterization of patient-derived tumor models for predicting patient response to treatment. Eleonora also worked as a Product Manager in Biology at Pear Bio, collaborating with multiple teams to develop and validate tumor models for clinical studies and lab tests. Prior to joining Pear Bio, Eleonora was a Tumor Engineer at the same company, responsible for patient tissue handling, cell isolation, and clinical trial data management.

Before joining Pear Bio, Eleonora worked at Barts Cancer Institute as a Doctoral Researcher, where they completed their PhD in Bioengineering and Medical Oncology. Their research focused on developing 3D in vitro models for pancreatic and ovarian cancer research. Eleonora also served as a PhD Forum Representative and founded the BCI Sustainability Committee.

Eleonora has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Queen Mary University of London and as an EACR Ambassador at the European Association for Cancer Research. Additionally, they have experience as a Sciences and Language Tutor at Tutorfair and as a Student Academic Representative for MSc Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine at UCLU.

Furthermore, Eleonora has held various roles at Imperial College London and Imperial College Union, including Student Mentor, Open Days Guide, and Student Fundraiser. Eleonora also worked as an Event Coordinator at RE HOSPITALITY LTD.

Throughout their career, Eleonora has gained expertise in tumor modeling, bioengineering, medical oncology, and research. Eleonora is also a skilled communicator and has experience in customer service, fundraising, and event coordination.

Eleonora Peerani's education history begins with their completion of the European Baccalaureate at European School Varese from 2001 to 2013. Eleonora then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Imperial College London from 2013 to 2016. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine at UCL from 2016 to 2017. Eleonora furthered their education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Medical Oncology at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, completing their studies from 2017 to 2020. Later, they attended Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2022 to 2023, where they attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their academic degrees, Eleonora Peerani has also obtained several certifications. Eleonora earned certifications in Emergency First Aid at Work from Marlin Training Ltd in May 2021, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Research and Human Tissue Legislation from the Medical Research Council in November 2020, and a Certificate of completion for the General Course in Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in September 2020.
